hey stevo, post this in the d40 specific thread for more view ;) my 2 cents would be based on similar with my old nissan pulsar n16. petrol v diesel i know but it might help!! Mine turned out to be the cam angle sensor had packed it in. it got hot one day and it started doing similar to yours ( i cleared the codes myself a few times). replaced the cam sensors (there were 2 in mine) and it ran perfect again. good luck! West Cape Howe
Great canopy. It's a Soft Topper from the US. It folds forward to virtually nothing, bit like a biminy on a boat. Lets you use the ute tray for shooting or stacking stuff in, whatevs. Really happy with it. Seems pretty tough too.
