Navara DX Front Diff problem

Hi,
Just had rear and front ARB dif lockers serviced today by ARB and when draining the oil from the front diff they found a tooth off the crown wheel. Couldn’t leave the vehicle for further investigation so booked in for next week.

Any known or recurring problems with the 2002 petrol v6 Navara DX Diff? Interested to see your comments on issues, cost of replacing and general issues that may surround that model diff.

Thats the R200A. Well should be anyway.

Not common, someone must have drove it hard to do that.

Crownwheel and pinion are like $1000 brand new.

I have a 09 2.5cr diesel and went to change an assumed broken cv yesterday turns out it was my front diff that had enough. I know they run a different size to the v6 but after ringing a few wreckers I picked up another stock one complete in housing for $440.
