ARB Space cases- are they good and whats similar?

Hay guys and girls,

Just wanted to know if anyone owns an ARB space case and what people thought of them? Does anyone know if there are any products similar and maybe cheaper?

A fellow member recomended these-

I have 2 space cases they are great, Arb dont own them they just sell them. Aussie disposals sell a ex army plastic case similar to a space case and kincrome have a version sits nice in the pathfinder i saw it in and bunnings sell the kincrome cases

I've started looking at these and found there are various makers of them, both here and OS. So it will be the usual that you may get what you pay for*. If you have a good brand, then you can get them in almost any size you want.

Pros; can be dust and rain proof. They can be stackable/interlockable to stop sliding.
Cons; take up a lot of volume for the usable volume they give.

That said, I have not found anything else that gives the dust/rain proofing.

*check weight and warranty.

I picked my kingcrome one up from bunning for $189 smaller one and fit between the wheel tube with a bit of room either side

My old man has had one of the TECHNI ICE boxes for about 3 months now and it seems pretty good

Yiou can get economical smaller ones for $11 - $20 each in a range of colours at Sams, Bi-Lo, etc .

Not too efficient space wise. Those sticky out handles take up to much floor space.
