I am curious if the clutch in a d22 zd30 are very hard in the pedal pressure or may i have a hydraulic problem it has had a new clutch fitted and feels the same as the old one
thanks for any responses
cheers phil

That would be the hydraulic ratio.

Heavy duty clutch or not, its barely going to change the effort needed to disengage the clutch.

interesting.
out of our 3 D22's, mine has the heaviest clutch, ones a bit lighter and the other one is a whole lot lighter again.
i wonder if a bearing has gone dry or failing or shaft is dirty and clutch isn't sliding along very well.

If its not grinding, the clutch is operating.

Mine went heavy after a river crossing.

Came back to normal after a few days.

I would pull off the master cylinder and check if it's OK and also the check the actual clutch pedal isn't binding up somewhere.

I have lubed the clutch pedal the return spring seems to be a strange set up going sideways dont know if that is causing the problem when pedal pressed it seems to twist a bit
cheers phil
