Got the Safari snorkel from Sunstate4x4 $460
Part number SS725HF. (ZD30)
Its says get a 86mm hole saw, All i could get from the Greenbox was a 89mm. And that was a nice fit anyways.
Then went to Queensland diesel spares and bought some 3" flexi rubber hose $50 for a meter.... Only used about 60 cm's of it
Now the first thing you need to do is remove that crap Nissan calls an air intake system.
Remove the plastic ring where the old air intake was. Chuck your new hose thru there, 3" is a nice fit.
Now what i did was squeeze the flexi pipe inside the rubber pipe off the snorkel. Abit of Sikaflex around it aswell as some rescue tape to seal it up.
Then to the Air box, Plug the top hole... I used a plug straight out of the laundry sink! (No shit) Ha ha with a bit of sikaflex to seal it up good and proper.
Joined my 3" flexi hose to the bottom hole in the snorkel with more Sikaflex but had to cut one mount off the air box to fit the 3" hose so close. ..
While waiting for the sikaflex to dry, I had to put a new indicator hole. Drill a hole into the spot the template told me too and then filed down to the right size. Easy as.
All and all very easy to do even for a truck driver like myself
