An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that SOCIALISM would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
It could not be any simpler than that.

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy
out of prosperity.

work for without receiving.

because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other

any nation.

When the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Just look what is happening around the world now; especially the euro crisis. The German and French economies are bailing out lazy socialist economies’ e.g. (Greece).

The likes of the UN are pushing for this crap aswell.

The West is being sent broke by bailing out all these African countries.

The billions that have been poured into Africa already.

Where has it gone ?

Its barely changed anything, AIDs is still killing them etc.

We should be looking after our own region, not the entire world.

We have a tiny population, we should be looking after the Islands around Australia.

Bring back the Liberals.

Either way its a shitty system the world has now, and really does only benefit a tiny minority.
Regardless of government type, how many countries around the world are not feeling the pinch at the moment?

I served with 3 Commando Rhodesian Light Infantry for 16 months, from 1979 to April 1980. We won the war; however, we lost the rigged elections that put Robert Mugabe into power.

One of the main reasons I joined the fight against terrorism was because on 12th February 1979, Nkomo’s forces shot down a civilian airliner killing all 59 on board.

On 3rd September 1978 the first civilian airliner was shot down killing 38 out of the 56 on board, a further ten survivors (women and children) were shot and bayonetted to dead by ZIPRA terrorists sent to inspect the burned-out wreckage site.

Only eight survivors managed to elude the terrorists and walked 20km through dense bush into Kariba from where the plane had taken off. (To butcher innocent women and children was a serious crime against humanity).Even todate, no one has ever been convicted of shooting down the two civilian airliners.

So much for loyalty, in the 1980's an armed conflict between Mugabe's Government and dissident followers of Joshua Nkomo's pro-Marxist ZAPU erupted. Following the deaths of tens thousands, neither warring faction was able to defeat the other.

Mugabe accused Nkomo, claiming that he was like a cobra in a house. The only way to deal effectively with a snake is to strike and destroy its head. Mugabe then He unleashed his dreaded Fifth Brigade upon Nkomo's Matabeleland homeland in Operation Gukurahundi, killing over 30,000 Ndebele civilians in an attempt to destroy ZAPU and create a one-party state. Nkomo fled the country to the UK to live in exile.

The first thing that black terrorist groups do when they seize power; is they rob their own treasuries’. Build and arm their army to squash any attempts by its civilian population. Promote yes-men that will carry out both military and policing atrocities against rival political groups or disadent citizens. That’s why Africa is fucked.

PS, Sorry for being so heavy, but the sooner Mugabe is dead and his corrupt government brought to justice the better outcome for the inocent peoples of Zimbabwe!

My turn to rant.

We worked our butts off this year (and 12 hour days surrounding the weeks last Christmas) to pull the boss out of strife and earn his millions.... No Christmas party no thanks for the work see you next year.
However he did put on a Melbourne cup BBQ.... only to win the sweeps!

While I agree he is scum and deserves a lead diet, you reckon the people will change if he was removed ?

Look at Iraq and Afgahnistan and there Dictators were removed.

I cant wait to see our Dictator Gillard removed and her "Spread the wealth attitude aswell".

Send us broke and fix every other country, we haven't got the population and tax payers like the US does.

That is what happens here and has for centuries; the government has consistently legislated to enrich certain sectors and screw the common people.

It started with anyone with class connections in England could come out and select almost any land and the local "owners" were turfed off it and I'm not talking about indigenous owners.

Look at the tax benefit so "high income earners". So many lurks and perks that many pay little or nil tax.

Thats just called creative accounting.

However, can you blame them.

Taxing 50% of there wage is wrong, there is no incentive to work hard anymore.
