no first gear!!!

just went to take off from a set of lights and then bang poped out of first. itthe shifter still moves up there but not engaging. all other gears seem to be working.

new gearbox or can be fix? cost??

Rather than a "new" gearbox, the cheapest option is an exchange gearbox. They're much cheaper than a rebuild at any rate.

Drain the oil out of the box and see what comes out.

ive only got 95 000 on mine. this is just shit. organised a 6 day hunting trip was ment to leave today. got new tired, bought an icebox, got some camping gear and now this happends last night.
actually still thinking of going but dont wana get stuck

Ouch. Do you pull off linelockers and burnouts at all.

First gear has been loaded up pretty hard at some stage or its a manufacturing fault.

Hey mate is that all that happened I'm currently getting same issue 1st selects but doesn't drive 2nd -5th and reverse still work perfectly fine aswell as clutch is fine. No crunching or grinding ?

no first gear!!!
