Hi all,
Decided I better get off my butt and join up here. Some of you may know us from the Patrol4x4 forum. We get a few enquiries from members of this forum after recommendations from other members.
This is a small hobby for us. We try to help forum members by supplying genuine Nissan new parts at better prices than most people can get from their local dealer. We sell only new genuine Nissan parts sourced from Australia as well as Japan, Spain and Thailand. We supply/deliver only within Australia.
It is not all about money though. We are here as a hobby and to of course make a small drink for our time but are always happy to offer quotes with no obligation or advice if we can. We have been in the Nissan parts industry for over 25 years and have some good contacts in the Nissan network so if we don't know the answer we can ask someone who might.
Thanks for having us on board.
Garry

Welcome Garry

I certainly will be some getting parts for my D40 from you in the near future.

welcome to the club mate! glad to have you here.

out of curiosity, i'm guessing you probably don't know hardware issues, but your statement above leads me to think perhaps you do?

if so, do you know the fault signs of a MAF sensor that is functioning, but not properly?

sorry if this a bit off topic, but i've been doing a long-term investigation between power loss and the maf sensor. i know for a fact that directly removing the maf sensor has a drastic power loss effect (slow spool, laggy, revs are crap, etc), but i'm wondering if such a thing as a faulted sensor could cause only minor effects, not drastic ones as i listed.

cheers and good luck with your hobby

ps. how much for a snorkel for a d22 dx single cab?

G'day & welcome
If I've got a parts enquiry for you what is the preferred method of asking? PM or a post? Though you could almost do with your own thread around here.

G'day Steel,
E-mail me at [email protected] is probably best as there is no restriction and I don't have to delete them so I can keep enquiries as long as I like and don;t have to ask questions again next time but either way works for me. E-mail is easy to access on the I phone as well so will maybe get a quicker response.
Thread might take up too much space and I am only a new member.

Thanks for that.
Your right I am no mechanic by any means but have been around Nissan's a long time.
I would think a dirty or faulty MAF could cause minor issues. I can't say I know much about the Navara one much but I know from the Patrol foum you can check the voltages the MAF is sending off at different revs. I wonder if you can test yours (will see if I can find a manual that tells me what the voltages should be on the Navara) and compare them to that or to another member's vehicle maybe? If they are right to the manual or the same as another members vehicle I would think that would rule it out. If they are different sounds like you have foudn the problem.

Snorkel for 2.5 Navara D22 $355 delivered to Perth.

Good to see you over here Garry.

Just thought of 2 things I need. Lol.

Thanks for the great service over time when I have dealt with you on Patrol4x4.

Dave.

Sorry mate only get involved in genuine parts. Can't say I know about docking stations. Would suggest Strathfield, Jaycar or JB or one of those electronic specialists.

HI Jas,
Can get them for sure but they are $85 each. :dong:
I guess $13 to post a pair to Brisvegas so $183 the pair delivered. Must be some wreckers up there with them surely.

Just give em a bump.
