Has anyone noticed the lack of these on the D22 and D40?
What did you use to fit a child seat?
Would the middle seatbelt mounts be a possible legal solution?

Dealer said they have had them (2 mounts) made and fitted locally by an auto engineer for $380 including a compliance plate.
Just trying to get a complete picture of the purchase cost.
 
Yeah we get charged a out $180 fitted per restraint by the guy we use at my dealership
 
How good does the job look?
Does the installer remove the tray to fit them?

I noted today that the back panel really could use some deadoner of some sort (either spray on or stick on sheets).

Yeah tray gets removed. Looks good. Safe. Strengthened and engineered with an RTA compliance. It's worth it
 
My tray didn't get removed. Just holes drilled in rear wall and floor behind rear seat and anchor point with smal strap installed. The hole thing is hidden behind the rear seat and looks neat and got QLD compliance plated. I think that in other states you just need to install the anchor point that comes with every child seat I have ever bought.
