Removing Stereo in Navara d40 2010 st

Hi guys i am thinking of putting a new headunit in my navara. Im ganna buy one of ebay

Has anyone used one of these and also has anyone removed stock standard headunit and has any pics please?
that would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Bump - post needed approval because of the link.

I had my dealer put the head unit in mine, so I can't help with fitting, but there are threads in the D40 section that specifically deal with this issue too, including pictures!

have a look at D40 Dash removal in the search bar.

It is basic. one screw in fact.

It's very easy, pop the little tray that is on top of the dash off (carefully so you don't damage your dash).

After that it's very self explanatory with large Phillips head screws you you remove and then the surround also 'pops' off with a little bit of 'help'.

Bud ive got 2 of these, 1 in my old boys D22 and 1 in my D40. Hands down they absolutly crap all over The top of the line Kenwood in my wifes car that cost an arm and a leg!
