Hi I broke cv boot today a stick went through while out driving, no oil or grease is coming out of it, is it safe to drive on and use in 4x4 ?, how much to get repaired ?,

Tape it up mate. You don't want shit getting into it.It will chew it out in no time or go CBC bearings and buy a whole now shaft with CV for about $140 bucks and keep that as a spare for big trims

it will cost you around 300 to 400 bucks if you use a genuine boot at the time i got both mine done you coudn't buy aftermarket boots

i ripped mine off (inner) out bush i assume and didnt realise for how many weeks/months...got it put for about $160 supplied and installed

thanks for all the advice guys, took it into nissan and they replaced it under warranty the next day

Hey mate,

Can you please tell me which Nissan Dealer you went to? Nissan refused to warranty my torn inner CV boot!
