Power Failure?

Earlier this week I noticed the clock in the tacho had reset so it was about 5 hours out. I just thought LOTO had bumped the settings while cleaning but then I found that both the trip meters had reset to zero. The clock in the radio was still on correct time so there had not been a complete power shutdown. I have not had the bonnet up for over a week and have not been under the dash for any reason either so I have no explanation. I know it is not a major concern but I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or can offer a reason.

i've seen that before.
i wonder if its due to battery voltge being a bit on the low side. i was doing lots of small runs when that happened. ended up putting the battery on charge which helped a lot. also had trouble with those crappy battery terminals so i upgraded those at the same time.
