Hey fellas anyone ever undone the gear stick?
Im trying to change the rubber boot where the gear shift goes into gear box.
I cant get the gear stick off.
I have a pair of vice grips clamped on and am turning anti clock wise, it turns about an eighth of a turn and then springs back, as it seems to be "rubberised" .
Ive put a lot of pressure on it but it wont budge.
Im sure there was a thread on this but cant find it.
Anyone know wtf im supposed to do?
