Have been reading a bit about the various size bars and their Pro's and Con's.
They seem to do a good job, are fairly bright for what they are and also use about half the current of "normal" spotlights.
Does anyone have them fitted or know anything about them?
Although costly, I was thinking about maybe getting a 48 inch setup for the bar across the roof of my D21 kingcab.

Do a search there are heaps of threads on those of us with LED bars.
In short they are great flood lights but dont do so well for distance
Also check your state regs they are illegal in some states( asin roof mounted lights) and legal in others .
 
yeh there more of a flood offroad use light. your better off with some hid spotlight on the bull bar if your after general night/highway. but have a look at ridgid industries i think they deal through snake racing. their smaller dually range are amazing for the size and use less than an indicator to run.

thx for replies, I have narva pencil beams ATM but one is cracked, might just buy some new spotties of some sort then. Cheers Steve
 
ive just got a 22" ebay cheapie, $230 i think it was, not the same as the one above but similar.
yet to mount & wire it, so im not sure how good it is.
 
Baja designs has brought out a new ONX bar. Its a bit on the expensive side but from what ive seen and the reviews they look awesome. 22 inch bar shoots out to 500+ meters and lights up the world
 
its gonna be a struggle to fit it up for the moment, flat out with work and xmas coming up.

just ordered some switches though so i should have everything i need to fit when i get the time.
 
pics are low beam, high beam, high beam + roof mounted 24" led light bar and high beam + light bar + 7" spot beam hid's which probably need to be adjusted slightly upwards.

ive got a baja designs 20inch led light bar and its the most amazing thing, definitely worth the money, huge amount of light and wide but long beam, very high quality and lifetime warranty, no regrets
 
Just put 22inch bar light on my car ,got it off ebay $290
great light ,lights up about %20 out each side,have a pair of good
spotties now have to upgrade them,i live in the bush ,wouldnt be
without the bar light now
