hi there did the egr mod today when i drove it went fine come home and went to restart it it just cranked over firing sometimes but wouldnt start .then i checked all hoses etc everything right then went to start it again and it started without a problem took it for a drive was fine then turned it off went to start again and would not start again . the mod is exactly as diagrams in forum. i have reversed the mod back to normal

nothing on the butterflies is start only. worse could be you swirl control mixed with shutoff and that would result in no go at all.
theres nothing in the butterfly system will make it not start.
all i can think of at the moment is you have an air leak in the fuel. stopping caused it to form into a bubble and starve the motor.
