I regularly launch a boat from the beach with my D40, so I had to find ways of keeping saltwater away from the body and suspension. The plan was to ...

Spray the rear underbody and suspension with fish oil,
Fit airbags to raise the body when launching

I did the fish oil and I purchased a set Firestone Ride-Rite airbags but I've decided not to fit them. It turns out I can keep everything pretty dry by timing the launch ... ie drop the boat when the water has dropped back.

If anyone wants a set of brand new airbags, drop me a note.
