Hi all,

Just looking at some 22" rims on eBay to purchase. They are off a Stx D40 (spain)dual cab style side and im told the offset is 30mm.

I have a ST d40 dual cab (Thai) and have read it should be 45mm offset.

Am I right in thinking these will fit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Some will say they fit others will say they will fit but could cause issues. There is a number of threads about rim offset and how they effect each model on this forum and I'm sure one thread with a detailed explanation of offset. But if you want a more detailed answer than that you'll either have to search or wait for someone else to come along and give you a yes or no answer.

Thanks krafty. From what I have read other people have said yes they will, but cause bearing damage. Hopefully someone will have some further insight as you suggested.

I thought the potential damage was more of a worry too the brakes and or calipers, but I can't remember which thread that was in.

I know when I was offered a rim off a Thai for my Spain it was recommended to me by a brake specialist not to go that way simply to save a few bucks on a second hand alloy rim. But we all take our advice from different places.
