From what I have read, its not worth it, too much hassle$. Like the idea though.

yeah i know its possible, but he got his done over east and apparently had alot off problems with the mechanic.
just wondering if anyone in Perth does it?

ive heard that the motor has to be newer than the car or something

and Dave are you talking about Brunswick Diesel?

What engine you got now ?

Stuff the V8.

A VG30DETT will be easier to fit, not all that hard to get 300kw out of it.

yeah already emailed Brunswick Diesel, and one of their motors wont fit :/

atm i have the ZD30

Was hoping for an LS1 or LS2 ;)

Read this thread, VG30DETT into a D21.

Cheapest way would be to buy a VG33E powered D22 (Stronger diffs front and rear).

Use the front half of the Z32 gearbox housing, bolt it to the rear half of the VG33E or ZD30DDT gearbox. As the starter motor fouls with the normal VG33E gearbox.

Everything for the V8 will need to be fabricated.

The VG30DETT will use the same engine mounts as the VG33E.

There is a R50 Pathfinder out here in Aus, that had a VH41DE (Nissan 4.1L V8) put in.

sorry havent been able too get on here for a while :/

Cheers Dave that does sound really good, but im pretty sold on a V8 haha.
I have a guy pricing it up for me, so should know soon what the damage is :)
