So I dont completely understand offsets.

Does/has anyone run 17 inch by 8 inch rims on a D40?

I am looking at a set and the offset is 18. will these scrub like a bastard?

went thru this exercise in the last few weeks for my spanish d40, and ended up with 16 x 7''s which are an 18 offset and sit flush with the body. 8's will be 1/2" out further, and if you have a thai model, they will hang out further again
