New Stereo-New Harness needed?

Hello all,

I'm going to replace the std Nissan stereo in the next few days, as it only puts out sound whenever it feels like it.

Now, with the new stereos, (Pioneer, Kenwood etc etc), does the std Nissan plug just go into the back of these, or do I need to find a special adaptor?(OR join and solder, eeeek)

Thanks for guidance from anyone who has done this, :victory:

You can get adaptors from Supercrap Auto, Autobarn and the like.

PLEASE DON'T CUT AND SOLDER. There are adaptors, they are cheap. You need a 95+ Nissan to {BRAND} adaptor depending on the brand of stereo you buy.

Yeah, there was no way I was going to solder anything, adaptors with proper plugs are the go. Off to Supercrap, Autobarn etc I go, :big_smile:
