Looks awesome Matt, this truck and Tim's old D22 are the only 2 dual cabs I like without the styleside tray.

2 thumbs up.

Dave.

Mate I can only echo everyone else's comments, it's a pretty tidy wagon you have there!
It gladdens me (yep, I'm three parts pissed) to see your canopy and how you've achieved the outcome, because I was told I couldn't do something similar myself by my canvas dude!
Great looking and professional wagon!

Cheers Brad

Matt, saw your ute in Ballarat this morning. Nice rig. The tray looks very integrated and overall got that tough but classy feel.

I was hoping you were going to put a canopy on. I want to do the same (steel tray with caged canvas canopy) and I was waiting for pics to see what it looked like

Can we please have some pics of it open showing the detail like bar work, how it attaches to the tray, front vents etc

this is the closest I've seen to what i want
YouTube - 4WD Action - 131 Custom GU Patrol Ute

good work

Bullwinkle, I head up to Ballarat usually once every week or two at least, thanks for the comments.

Nathan96, will post up some more pics this evening maybe if not tomorrow of the bar work. I have it all so it can be removed in different stages if required as use it for several different things etc.

Cheers guys.

Air vents on both sides with button flap for opening and closing, when open supposed to stop build up of dust inside canopy......works so far.

matt-vnet-pro-albums-matt-s-d22-str-scratch-2-now-picture289-28.jpg

Had some more steel bent up with a 50mm lip top and bottom, mounted original number plate lights and reversing camera in top lip over looking towball.

matt-vnet-pro-albums-matt-s-d22-str-scratch-2-now-picture290-29.jpg

Bolted to chassis using original holes from rear step bar, 3 on each side. Will also be mounting some brighter round LED lights either side of plate for better night time reversing with camera.

Quick release hitches for removing tool boxes.
