bought a etrex 20 as we need to find a gps point in a competition, any one got maps /know any good maps/what are you using?
good maps preferably free.

Ive been using BackCountry Navigator, it uses the free topo maps from OpenCycleMap.org. You can download the maps over wifi before you head off and is great for capturing new tracks and waypoints.

The app supports the OpenCycleMap built in just select it from the options menu.

Is anyone using OSmand on their android.
It s the open Street Map maps.
Unfortunately, my late android device(SWMBO dropped it) was using a Google approved version and ths didn't have access to the google store and the version i located in the wild barfed on permissions whenever I tried to download the maps.
Slowly thinking about a replacement tablet, this time with built -in gps hence the question.

I'm using orux maps on my tablet seems pretty good.it loves garmin maps will accept most maps but I havnt played with any yet.I just use default which needs a 3g connection.
