still getting water/oil splashing up into the air intake even after the big factory hole in the inner guard was sealed up.

this is just water being picked up off the road not by river crossings.

might just have to take the prefilter to guard intake pipe off.
 
its just stupid that even on tarseal the filter gets wet. not a big problem except the oil off the road doesn't evaporate, it sticks to the filter and fouls it up.

nissan are just to lazy to make a proper fitting inner guards.
 
well actually nissan don't make them. i think the nissan ones are airflow which are have a rep of cheap and nasty :33:
 
hasnt done so bad for me. i just put bulk silicone around where it went into the airfilter box and hasnt leaked yet
