New D21 owner

Hi guys, im new forum member James from Whyalla, South Aus.

Ha! Love it. Never heard of a Toyota Stout.

Assuming it is a 4WD, there is one difference between the 720 and D21 that I'm aware of, and that is the drivetrain. The 720 had a divorced (separate) transfer case (ie gearbox - short driveshaft - transfer case), while the D21 had a transfer case married to the gearbox.

I'll see what else I can dig up, but keep us up to date.

Thanks mate, this is exactly the kind of information I am looking for. I'll have to stick my head under again to confirm, but pretty sure its got an integrated transfer case.

Any idea on possible susp differences between the two? It looks like not much changed on the D21 susp wise over the years. Im hoping I can fit straight up your typical ironman/toughdog susp kit. Just a bit aprehensive to fork over 1500 odd bucks only to find some parts just dont quite fit due to the chassis really being some obscure 720 variant.
