Just wondering everybody that has fitted one to the front, now they have been in a while if they have had any problems.
Next on my list to do.
Cheers Brent

Yeah mate i have fitted one about 2 months ago, all i can say is WOW it just makes everything so much smoother and easier on the truck when you out bush. I cant hear any clicking whats so ever when the truck is engaged into 4wd. It probably is the best mod so far to the truck.

I've been running dual lokka's in my other truck for a few years, done about 5000k's extreme offroading, broken axles, stripped crownwheels, but the lokka is still going good.

Hi willy67, what sort of locker in the front and what was involved in the install?
I've heard lots of conflicting info about front lockers in navs...

Hey kanga rooted, its a lokka that i have in the front of mine. The install isnt to bad to do i took the diff out my self and took it to a diff specialist to fit, he then followed the exact instructions you get from lokka and it probably took him all of about an hour and a half to fit and make sure it was perfect. It took about and hour to fit and the i followed the instructions on how to test that the lokka is working and BAM!!! it was done. Seriously worth while mod. I think the key to not breaking things when the lokka is in is just trying to take it easy and let the lokka do all the work while offroad, i have not hit a section yet that i have to actually get above idle for the truck to climb up, but there is harder stuff out there and im willing to give it a go now and see how we go.

You have to look for some steeper hills.
Although i do find it is hard to find a hill which requires throttle usage.

My airlocker in getting rebuilt next week and the R200A goes in to my Nav in a few weeks.

I remember Josh saying the locker was leaking, I gotta go see ARB which I dont look forward to as I have never had good service from them.

Dave.

Glad to hear nobody is having any problems with there front lokka & all seem happy with them.
Ordered mine just after christmas, wont be in till mid january sometime.
On special at the moment $550 inc delivery to my door.

Hi Guys

Whilst I appreciate this thread is around D22s can anyone provide similar advice/views for the Lokka in D40s? Both front and rear diffs please?

I priced the ARB airlocker for the rear diff just before Xmas which you'll all know is OTT on price!

Thanks Gus

They don't make a front lokka for the D40, because there are no hubs to disengage the front axles. I don't think the dana 44 lokka fits the D40 rear diff either.

i sent an email to ARB asking about how much to install front and rear air lockers. this was the reply...

Phil,

Thank you for your enquiry.
We have lockers for a D22 available.
They are $3905 fitted with ARB large compressor for inflating tyres and running the lockers.

Either Corey Bryant has misunderstood or ARB need to update their website. There is no front air locker for the D22 diesel. Full stop.
