Hey guys in trying to fit up an after market water guage... better insurance than the standard Nissan one. So where is th water sender unit located on the ZD30 3.0ltr ????

i assume you mean water TEMP sender.
it doesn't matter which one it is, fit a separate sender anyway. on a lot of vehicles they cut into the top hose. there are kits available for it. (alloy tube with sender location tapped into it).
a mechanical gauge is not a bad idea. quite interesting the amount of heat soak the motors get. ie the temp goes up after the engine has turned off.
