Hey guys,
What's everyone do for water tanks in their D40's??

they normally put it in them little spray bottles

you know ,with the scizzors and comb

We have a 10L plastic water tank from SCA for general use and then a full jerry can in the tray for additional capacity.

80l tank under tray

How is the tank hung the tray? I have an 80L (think, might be 60L) black plastic tank given to me but not sure how to mount it.

I've removed a post with a weird link in it. Don't like spam, and that smelt spammy. I also removed the response which had the link in it.

We just use the square base 20/25L water barrels that you can pick up from camping shops. Actually, I think most of ours are from buying distilled water in bulk. These get loaded in as needed dependant on activity.

My 2c is that I'd fit long range fuel tanks onto the vehicle before a water tank(still got a tub). When we go away wit the camper trailer, using the 65l water tank, we can get 195l onto the camper trailer and usually have 100l of diesel in the tub.

My 2c on water containers like you are considering is to get the biggest you can fit, but make sure they are firmly attached and also protected from the sun(algae build up). Do they have internal baffles to prevent sloshing/load shifting?

I have a 50ltr tank at the head board of the tray, fits snuggelly behind the outback drawers.
