Does anyone know of any shops making s/s snorkel' in the perth area and what sort of quality and price, i found this one, but these guys are on the east coast

An exhaust shop should be able to. Just depends how much you want to spend probably...
On the topic of snorkels I don't suppose anyone south of the river has a holesaw I could borrow to fit a factory snorkel?

I looked at have one made for my Patrol and would cost around $400 and that was two years ago. I ended up getting the pipe off eBay for about $50 and using silicone joints. Not as pretty but not as expensive.
On the hole cutter, I used a jigsaw with a steel blade and worked a treat.

I was thinking of the jigsaw but thought the flare might get in the way... I guess its not hard to take it off though...
