Double Island/ Teewah Trip early 2014

Hi all,

Some of us guys over at the D40 Facebook page have been chatting and are trying to organize a trip for the new year sometime. Date's are still undecided at the moment, that's why I thought I'd get the ball rolling early. So we can put forward our rosters and hopefully get a few numbers.

So at this stage well we're thinking of a boys trip to start with and see how we all go. Then for those that want we can do something with families etc.

I'd say hitting some of the tracks that Teewah has to offer, flick some bait around what ever takes your fancy. Nothing too serious... oh and dont forget a few coldies.

Ill post some links hopefully with all the info you need to get amongst it.

Note: for those coming from Tewantin you will need to catch the ferry its around $7 ea way, and runs from 6am till 6pm from memory.

If this works out we might be able to make it a regular thing at different camp grounds up n down the coast.

If you need anything else just ask. Or anything ive missed please say. Still early days so we can brain storm...

At this stage im good fir February and possibly early March.

I'm unsure of dates till closer to the time but am defiantly keen for this trip. Never seen the tracks at teewah but keen to have a shot.

Hopefully this doesn't fall through like previous attempts that people have tried to organise.

Yeah all good Mitch. I understand your work situation, if we get hardly any interest ill just close this and we can just chat amongst ourselves the couple that were keen from the start. No biggie. Ill be in touch anyway.

Hi im new to the site and am intrested to get to know different people to take the ute out. My ute is completely stock except for having a snorkel. But love those beach inland tracks just need people to go with. Im free most weekends so if anyone wants to go for a bash let me know. Would love some offroad driving tips aswell.
