i would prob go coops but i think they're a lot dearer

Mate I put Kumho's (KL51's I think) on the wifes Rav (4cyl), same year model etc. I could not be happier with the choice. But they are not as agressive a tyre as the ones you've mentioned. I researched them via the US site Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels. I found it a very handy site, the tyres all have ratings out of ten based on user submissions.
With regards to the tyres your looking at both are getting possitive feedback with the Bridgestones being heaps cheaper than the Coopers over here.
