Im looking at getting some new suspension for my 09 D22. I tow a trailer for work on average of 3 days a week and this winter heading up to the Kimberly.

A mate of mine has O.M.E and swears by it, does anybody else have any other recommendations?

I was recommended by a 4wd specialist to go OME Nitrocharger shocks and Dakar leaves.
Through a turn of events I have ended up with Lovells gas shocks and the Dakar (ARB) leaves arrive next week.
The Lovell shocks have made an improvement and the front feels more fluid and compliant. The original rear leaves are too harsh unladen and fully loaded they are satisfactory but could do better.
Don't bother with airbags unless you are carrying a large amount of weight on the chassis and towing also.
Also some will suggest reworking the originals by adding a leaf or modifying the leaf stack but not worth the cost to turn a pigs ear into silk purse.
Dakars can be had from $412 delivered by D22str http://www.navara.asia/sale/2652-dont-forget-what-we-sell-guys.html
The standard Torsion bars are up to the job but should be replaced after 100k kms
The best thing you can do is throw the original suspension in the bin - it is shit. Anything else is an improvement.

Bilstien shocks by far.

I am running OME torsion bar's and the rear leaves are standard.

i have efs shocks and there great. a mate has the same and there good.
i dont trust old man emu, i was talking to a guy up the cape and had 4 week old old man emu shocks and they were complety stuffed, he had to get new shocks shipped up to him.
so ill never touch them

4 weeks old and rooted already, bloody hell.

Never heard any bad things about EFS.

But Bilstiens have my vote.

im running an OME setup and cant say a bad thing about it, i would recommend it for sure

I tow an 8x5 trailer full of sand. I have ironman leafs efs shocks and torsion bars as well as snake racing controll arms and idler brace. But the best thing I ever did for towing was to get pedders to install airbag suspension on the rear. if you have a load on just pump them up, you wont even know you have a trailer on and that way you should still be able to run the standard rear setup if you want to.
