Hi I have a 2009 Navara D40 RX this model does not come with rear speakers. Up till now the sound has been resonable, on a recent birthday I recieved a new head unit with all the latest points for hooking up just about anything. I also recieved an apple ipod that i loaded all my CD's on. I now have a set of high end 6" speakers which I would like to install in the rear door.
I have tried to remove the rear door cards I tired to follow an earlier post but it didn't seem to be the same as mine.
I have poped the bottom and have removed the ash tray in the arm rest and removed the screw.
I have also removed the trim around the door release handle.
There is a section in the arm rest near the outside edge of the door that appears to be where it is still secured. I have tried to remove this section but it does not seem to want to give and I don't want to force it.
Can any one assist me on where to from here.
