this is my o8 d40 st-x. 6 speed manual. turbo diesel.
i bought it brand new (with the tub), safari snorkel, arb tow ball, nudge bar (freebie), tinted windows, e rust and ipf spotties and gme uhf from previos landcruiser i owned. etc
the list of works goes as is.
1st: ripped the tub of and fitted a duratray alloy tray from c&b mobile fitting
on the Gold Coast and took the option of the tradesman high polished
bar with welded in mesh. (for strength) tray is 1905 x1900.
2nd:after 7000km i sold the stock contitrac tyres to a fella at work for $600
and fitted a set of bf goodrich a/t's 265/75/16. the speedo's only 3 km
out now.
3rd: brown and davis bash plates fitted both sump and transfer
case. (arb gold coast)
4th:17000km on the clock and got the arb deluxe bar fitted (arb gold
coast) and the suspension upgrade with billstein shocks and king
springs heavy duty leaves and coils.(mermaid suspension)
i got 35mm lift out of the front and 65mm out of the back.
5th:the red arc smart solinoid dual battery set up was fitted by an auto
sparky.
further mods WILL include an exhaust system, performance chip/gas injection and a battery monitor and thats about all i ca think of at the moment.
i'll also be swapping from bfg a/t's to either bfg muddies or wrangler a/t's in the next 15000 km.
