I'm thinking about installing a low coolant alarm before setting off on my next trip which will take in the Gibson, Great Stoney and Simpson Deserts. I have narrowed the selection down to either the Enginesaver (Low Water Alarm Sensor) or Redarc (Low Coolant Alarms by Redarc). Wondering if anyone has had any experience in fitting such a device to the D40 2.5 diesel.

Thanks
Pete

Hi Pete and Dozer
I had the Engine saver on my Landrover, good Aussie product.
Didn't help as the head gasket went and the alarm didn't go off.
Cooked motor.
I think the best option is the Engine saver & one of the temp alarms on Ebay.
Would cover the lot.
