4wd low range

Hi i got a 2010 navara d40 and when i go to change from 4LOW back to 2WD or 4HI after iv been in 4LOW for any longer then a few mins it takes like 3 to 4 mins for it to change back it says on the dash its in 2 or 4HI but the revs say otherwise, does this happen to any1 else or just me or can any1 tell me why.

have you tried shifting out of 4 low/hi, reversing for about a meter or so, and then going forward?

gets me out of 4wd every time when it doesnt want to go to 2wd straight away

if its a manual you need to be in nuetral with the clutch out for it to go in and out of Low, and as maddog said just reverse back a metre or so to take any load off the drivetrain, that usually works. If it doesn't work take it back and quiz Nissan about it.

Yeh cool thanks guys, i did try reversing back but didnt have it in nuetral with the clutch in ill try that next time, thanx again.
