Looking at 2000 ST D22

Hi all,

I am looking at a buying a 2000 duel cab Navara ST D22 SERIES 2. It is in good condition with steel tray and tool boxes. Has only done 105000 kilometers. Asking price $11500 Thoughts and comments appreciated. Also, any thoughts on power upgrades?

what motor has it got? diesel or petrol.

the diesel will be the ZD30. unfortunately that year is one of the "poor" ones that tend to blow pistons. i would check to see what work been done on it and allow some for an engine rebuild (new pistons and rings)

Thanks for the info. It has a diesel motor. Any idea how much I would be looking at new pistons and rings?

That will be a QD32 powered D22.

afaik SERIES 2 only had the ZD30, series 1 had the others. 2000 should be about when the ZD30 came out.
