today i broke my first part of the car not impressed with it had a look and its broken the clips on the tailgate were the handle is to open it and pulled the studs out of the plastic now my question is what is the best way to fix ?
broke my first thing on my d40 ;(

undo the screws on the inside of the tub to replace the clips

yeah thats good in theroy but they are completely snapped off so it looks like i am off to nissan tomorrow

As Nismo said but first go to the wreckers and get the handle mechanism and whatever else you need. The clips may not be repairable but atleast a wreckers won't charge as much as Nissan and that area of the tailgate has been pretty much the same for a few models now so there is bound to be some wreckers somewhere with some slightly older Nav's in that have the bits.
