Hi,
I am not sure about the exact model buy in general, if the car has an in built bluetooth audio system, the actual microphone will be WIRED to the back of the headunit OR built into the heaudnit itself (you will see a tiny hole in the front of the headunit).. and then the headunit has the bluetooth capability, not the microphone.

all good i fitted an ext mic

How did you achieve this? I have lots of complaints from people I am talking with that they can hear themselves speaking when I use Bluetooth in the car

I have fitted a Growl Stereo to my Nav and there is an ext mic port at the back of the unit , but the Mic I'm using is not the mic from that unit as they didnt have any at the time when I bought it the unit , that reminds me i must get back on to them about that
