Anyone tried this stuff? Thought it might be handy in the toolbox.

I have something like that in my toolbox, but I tell ya that stuff looks even better. I'll head around and get me some of that before I put our new solar panel up on the roof of the van (we have two now). I'll make sure all the wiring is watertight so I can have peace of mind!

Can't say we've ever had any real issues using this stuff and we've used it on different jobs for a few years now. It does what it claims, I'm sure we've never really put it under the conditions they claim it can work under, but I'm also not sure I'd pay for it.

For the price of it while it might not have the heat ratings of the silicon stuff that cheap as chips duct tape with chinese writing on the inside of the reel is still better value when you consider for $1.50 you can get about 25 meters and use heaps of it and it will provide a half decent weather seal until a permanent fix can be made.
