what is the best point to connect the signal wire from my aftermarket tacho

If your dizzy is like mine, the coil is built into the body of the dizzy.

The standard Tachos run off the ECU. Not sure where you'll find the wire for that, or if it'll work for aftermarket tachos.

Let me know if you work it out!

im certain that the tacho i have relies on the pulse from the coil or something similar, i dont believe that the ecm sends out pulse's but rather a passive current which is a small voltage sent out between 0v and 5v, higher revs higher the voltage well thats how i think it works. yeah my coil must be the same as yours i cant find a coil which is visible can i still connect onto the coil at all?

tachometer wire is no#3 terminal on the ecm its a white wire and its a passive current used... no good for aftermarket tachos. altough the ecm needs an input for rpm maybe that might be where i can connect to it, a bit more research is needed i think
