Hey guys, trying to change drive belt on my zd30, is there any ticps or tricks anyone can offer cause i just had a quick look and find it pretty tight for space to release pre tensioner

get at the tensioner from underneath. bar and socket onto the arm and pull it over. fit tight and lot of pressure needed so watch your finger don't get squished.
when belt is off check the pulley. they tend to flog the plastic bush and bearing.

man what a pain in the ass that was. Was a 2 man job for sure. all done now though. THANK GOD!

Gday fellas, just wondering how much pressure i need, it seems as though the whole engine is moving a bit. Should i be worried I'll break something?

Think the pressure needs to be held for a little bit as the oil in the tensioner needs to be squashed past the seal.. Somebody else might have a better explanation
