Hi all,

I just put in a set of Lightforce 170's. I cant believe how good they are.
I purchased the lightforce wiring loom as well which seemed to me to be pretty cheap quality for the money. Anyway I want to replace the crappy switch the lightforce loom came with to a Narva l.e.d rocker switch to make it look more standard.

The question is, the narva switch comes with 3 connection points (ground, power, acc) and the lightforce switch has only 2 connections (black/red power on one connection and brown wire that runs to high beam head light wire)

Where do I run the black/red wire? do i need a ground wire?

I'm a bit of a novice at all this so I hope this is explained ok.

Thanks in advance

i would think the ground wire will be for the led. the other two will be the same as the lightforce switch.

Heres the diag from the lightforce website

To replace the switch connection with an led switch

Connect the power to the headlight high beam wire (brown on diag)

Acc to the relay (red/black wire on diag)

And ground to ground/earth/chassis

Essentially the relay is a switch, It can only be turned on when the high beams are on and you have activated your led switch. Once this criteria has been met, it closes the circut between the battery and the headlights and presto let there be light.
