Opposite lock rear twin wheel carrier

Hi Guys

I am looking at purchasing a opposite lock twin rear wheel carrier, has anyone dealt with this product before? Is there any drawback to these?

Do you need to carry 3 spares?

It'd be mighty useful, because you can convert the current spare area into fluid storage (fuel or water) and having two spares could be handy in the outback.

The $2600-odd price tag is a little scary and it looks like they need to replace the rear bumper.

Still, if it helps with outback adventures, it could be worth the coin.

I'll stick with my Kaymar bar 1 spare and a 20L jerry can....plus the built in towbar and under body protection

The $2600 is a bit on the steep side but it was the only one that I had seen so far. The Kaymar looks good too, first time I have seen it.
What was the price tag for the Kaymar bar?

The 3 spares was just an option, but i was leaning towards using the space under the tray for other perposes.

With the Kaymar Bar you mentioned under body protection, what does this look like?
