Hi guys, I have had my truck almost a year and think the ride is quite poor,
I want to spend a little but not too much, any opinions on whether new shocks/ or springs are the way to go, and if anyone else can shed light on what improved the ride for them I would appreciate it, im not a serious 4x4 mainly beach work and semi rough dirt roads. cheers

I'm an advocate for quality shocks, Koni, Bilstein, Radflo, King to name a few. IMO it's the best and first mod you should do to any car or 4WD.

Did I mention I use to work at a Bilstein shock specialists?
Anyway I did and I had the opportunity to see a few different makes getting tested. Its amazing watching a shock dyno in action, seeing the paint blister off and watching the results graphed is a real eye opener.

ive looked at the EFS Comfort kit with Rancho RS9000XL 9Stage Adjustable Shocks all round. anyone got the same kit? ive been priced $1500 inc fitting $1300 without fitting.

I have EFS Torsion Bars, Ranch adjustable shocks all round, Ridepro H/D rear leafs & Boss Air Bags. I have a steel tray and normally carry a heavy load, but when unloaded it rides pretty horrible in the rear. So far can recommend the shocks & T/B's though, but if I had my time over again I would probably do a completley different setup though.

Maybe Bilstein Shocks, EFS T/B, EFS Medium Duty Rear Leafs with the Air Bags.......maybe?
