gday everyone about to purchase 2007 navara stx diesal auto about 80000kays on the clock. some say 07 had a lot of problem with diesal engine . any one out there have much problem with that year or any other year much info will be appreciate thank you

I don't recall anything bad about the 2007. Steel reported a battery terminal issue with his, Eug has one and has not made any complaints about it (although he has an issue with the dealer).
The manuals had an issue with clutch dampeners causing engine rattles but apart from that it seems that the '07 model wasn't bad.
Have a read through this thread on warranty work to see what's happened to other users.

good post there old tony. my dealer came good in the end and quite happy with the purchase thus far!

Main problems I've heard with the engine involves the pump and injectors, but I don't think those are isolated to 07 models.
The D40 seems to have a reliable engine so far. There must be a few around getting close to 200k by now.
