Whats it in the show for mate? You got a stand there?

I will be going up there sometime over the weekend yo have a look so I will stop in and say gday if you are there.

ha ha yeah it was difficult and definitely custom job but I am happy with the result. I used nutserts into the firewall and then made up a custom mount cradle. I said after I finished I would never do it again though!!! haha

The ute is on the Northside 4x4 stand for display. I probably wont be there other than a visiter at some stage of the show but ya never know. If I am there just ask for Brian and say g'day for sure.

Nice job! Shame I can't put a compressor there as I have already fixed the fuse box for the electrics that run off the second battery in the same place.

Probably should update this as a lot has changed!
I have changed the rear over to a tray finally. It has taken a long time just working on it in my spare time etc.

I will just post pics and they will tell a better story. lol
Tray is steel with 4mm alloy checker floor and alloy sides.

more pics of electrics etc. I can finally have a decent dual battery setup!

I actually have the rear led work light set up with remote control so just a key fob with buttons on it. Works from about 30m or more away so perfect for camping. Works from inside the house etc so pretty good range. I reckon it is kinda cool. I have a switch inside the car also for back up.

Water tank is a 65l and I have the set up to suck from tank or from a creek/bucket. Pump has a led so when it is switched on I know. Uses jopler fittings for in and out.

Also have a couple of cheapish leds for helping with reverse on either side of tray. They light up the ground quite well as I have dark windows.

I am pretty happy with how it all turned out in the end. There are a lot of things I wanted to do but ran out of time and money so this is it!
I will get a canvas canopy for it soonish though.

Thanks for looking

thanks guys. I am looking forward to our first camping trip in November. It is great being able to strap the fridge and everything in with all the room it has created. A canopy will be great for a bit of wet weather security.

The remote unit was off ebay. I had the idea one night and started searching for 12v remote switches/relays. There are a couple of different types some with two channels some with only one. I got a single channel unit as it was only the work light I wanted to run off it.
Easy as to wire up too.
This is the exact one I got DC 12V Remote Control On Wireless Power Switch 10A Ship | eBay

They handle 10amp too so for an led light no need to run a relay really.

Very nice nav, good to see all the pictures as they say 1000 words in trying to explain what has been done and achieved.
