crown and pinion.

Hi every one. This is my first thread so bear with me. I have a D22 with a ZD30. i have busted the crown gear in my front diff and probably done the pinion as well. I got quoted about $1200 just for the parts from Nissan. The question i'm asking is there anyone else i can get them from and how hard is it to rip the front diff out so that i can take it to a drive line specialist or should i just leave it to the experts and get them to do everything?

its easy to pull the whole front diff out. Id search around for a complete diff, they come up pretty cheap every now and then.

hi mate ive done 2 front diffs in 3 months first one i got complete diff from nissan for $1200 now trying to get warranty on this diff the front ends are just f%#ken weak

put an r200 in

crown and pinion.
