Has anyone here had any problems with camber since having a suspension lift.

I have an 01/08 Spainish built Navara and have been advised that a full 2" lift will cause problems with tyre scrub because of lack of camber adjustment facilities in the front end.

Has this been the case, and if so is there a fix?

I would have had trouble by the guys who did the lift - Ultimate Suspension - knew what needed to be done to fix this, as well as every other problem the factory suspension was giving me....

Some D40's didn't get adjustable lower control arms, if yours is one of those then yes, there is no easy way for you to do a suspension lift. You will have to try a specialist suspension company like Ultimate for a solution.

There are also adjustable bush kits available for the bottom control arms now - for example, check out the Nolothane website for details.

I just installed a camber kit in my 2010 ST (thai built) yesterday.

Ironman 2inch lift with an additional 10mm spacer, looks like three inchs from a distance:big_smile:

It had factory adjustable camber pins, these maxed out at .65 and .39 degrees postitive camber. Not bad but not perfect.

The kit installed is from Fulcrum, it is offest bushes and new pins/bolts for the lower arms. Now it has .05 and .07 negative. Also the distance from the top arm to the coil mount is plenty(haven't measured this)

The bush kit works and if you want to lift you need to accept this cost as part of the job. approx $200 for the kit plus installation if you need it.

That is all.

hi try pro axle if in yr state they do camber mods for the D40

A mate of mine has an 06 Spanish built and didn't need the ball joints/spacers as there was enough adjustment, so they must have changed a few things from 06 to the 08 model.
