Hey thanks its a nifty forum,

Pic taken at Bribie Island, QLD.

Generic highway tyres + loaded up to the hilt + steep camp site = fail.

Broke the front wheel drum brake line and had to drive back no brakes until popped into a family friends and blocked and bled them..

FYI if you ever need to get past a beach entry RBT just put your warning lights on and smash it past em

Also learnt make sure air filter is not clogged with gunk from highway driving get about 2x more response and power at low end.

Got the local brake and clutch mob to make up more heavy duty brake lines.. nissan's one looks terrible and apparantly its a common occurrence..

No need for a UHF Dave got a handheld?.. trying to bite the bullet for a beaudesert exhaust but keep getting side tracked.

Camper trailers becoming temptingly cheap too.

Cheers.

Got the kit from jaycar, pretty simple to do. Just check continuity on the tracks of the pcb supplied.

Just fitted a nissan snorkel on the weekend... Makes a decent 'whoooo' sound is that normal?

Read something about checking nothing rubbing on the guard apparently it amplifies any noises?!?

Cheers for the welcome

hey mate, welcome

yes that 'whooooo' noise is normal for the snorkel, its the air being sucked in...

Yep, induction noise is pretty normal. sounds different though hey.
