You should look with Tbox DB Prex Control for VNT turbo type.....
It can modify voltage to up boost.......
can be tune example of 30% of map voltage starting modify boost signal or from starting point......
I did this boost up to 1.5Bar now.....Rapidly push from behind...

I don't know too much about the techinal side of these motors work ect... but the D40's run at 20 psi standard and too me that is pretty high, i don't know if i would want to ramp up the boost too much.

intercooling starts becoming more of an issue and also engine backpressure. certainly if your going to push the engine hard i would be looking at mods to keep it alive.
